Finding a night caregiver for our daughter was a new and important journey for my husband and me. We needed someone we could truly depend on, and from the moment we met Amy, her warm and welcoming smile reassured us. As we worked with her, we quickly noticed her excellent communication skills. She kept us updated on nightly feedings and diaper changes, ensuring we always knew how our daughter was doing. Her well-structured night routine fit with our daughter’s schedule, giving us peace of mind knowing she was in great hands. Amy is kind, knowledgeable, and highly experienced. We are incredibly grateful for her help and the care she has provided to our family.

I wanted to write this in two sections - One for Mary-Beth and then one about having a night nanny in general.

MARY-BETH (Godsent, Amazing, Set the bar so high):
My husband and I joke that we wish we could build a house in our backyard and have Mary Beth move in and not just because she is great with our Son but because she is AMAZING. Her energy is sweet, caring, bright, and kind. She offers advice if wanted/needed and is just so great with newborns and kids in general. Starting on the first day home from the hospital, she came in with a routine that has set our son up for success. She washed bottles and pump parts, did bath time, feedings, changings, organized clothes, folded blankets and swaddles, and more. When it came to the baby, she did it all. She was also very sweet with our dog, who waited by the door every night for her to come. We ended up extending Mary Beth an extra two weeks. When our 6 weeks ended, we were incredibly sad because she made such an impact on our lives as first-time parents. Flash forward to finding a day-nanny, it's hard to not compare them all to MaryBeth because she really did set the bar so high.

HIRING A NIGHT NANNY/NURSE:
If you're considering a night nanny or nurse, you should 100% go for it. As a first-time mother, this was an absolute lifesaver. When you come home from the hospital, it's invaluable to have someone with so much experience and kindness to help you take care of yourself and your baby. You don't realize how exhausted you will be from birthing and how much work a mother has to put in during those initial days. Even if your husband goes above and beyond to support you, women take on the majority of the work in those initial months. You're going through a massive hormonal change, and having someone help you at night can make a significant impact on your mental health, allowing you to show up better during the day for your baby and family.

As a first-time parent, you may have many questions. It's hard to get on a schedule and know what works, and it's hard to get sleep. A night nanny/nurse helps with all of this. Additionally, once we got the OK to let the baby sleep as long as they wanted at night, because they were already on a routine, our baby was sleeping 6+ hours. Now, at 4 months old, our baby is sleeping 12 hours straight when many babies/parents are just starting to establish a routine.

Lastly, FOR THE HUSBANDS - It can be hard to know how to help and support the baby and mom in those first weeks, well this is it, hire a night nanny. You will instantly feel better. They can help teach out how to change diapers, do bath time etc. so that you can bond with baby and support mom.

We had such a wonderful experience with Annie and her team. We were originally scheduled to have Lena join us, but she was unfortunately ill when I was discharged from the hospital. Annie is so professional and caring, she called me directly and said not to worry - I'm sending you Callie and she is wonderful. And she wasn't wrong.
From the first day Callie joined us, she was so warm and helpful, answering all of my questions I had as a first time mom, from bathing, to feeding schedules, and everything in between. Over the three weeks she was with us, Callie helped get our son on a schedule that worked for all of us. We never doubted the care and attention she provided our son, and we were truly sad to see her go, but so happy she was off to help others. We are now expecting baby number two and have already requested Callie join us again.
We would (and have) recommend Annie's team to our family and friends.

Writing a review for both Mary Beth and Coya. We had a pretty unfortunate circumstance, and had a1.5 year old at home already. Let’s start with Mary Beth since she spent the most time with us and was there in the beginning. She has a super cool Italian grandmother vibe and provided excellent care for our premie baby. We had my mother inlaw in town as well and needless to say, she was able to politely and effectively not be overwhelmed by her shadowing over her and made sure that me and my wife’s wishes were met. Our baby was in great hands with her and we trusted her from day 1. Baths, feedings, laundry, etc all done perfectly. I can’t remember exactly since our life was crazy at the time, but I’m pretty sure she did 7 days in a row before her first day off, and was even super flexible with adding days, even at the last minute.

Now onto Coya; while she was only around for a week while Mary Beth was on a much deserved vacation (planned way prior to our contract), we were also pleasantly surprised. Since we were so use to having our Italian grandmother Mary Beth take care of our baby, we were nervous at first to have someone take over for that week. Would she care as much? Would she take instruction well? Would our baby be in good hands? Yes to all! She was also amazing and caring. Despite being young, she knows her stuff and how to care for a premie! We were able to sleep easy knowing our baby was in good hands. My wife and I are very particular with certain things and she didn’t mind us giving her direction and implemented it immediately.

Lastly, we had Kathy (Annie’s sister) put in some time as well. Our contract was over, Mary Beth and Coya were on to their next clients, and we needed extra prolonged care/help. She was able to help with essentially no notice. Very friendly, punctual, and again, know her stuff for child/baby/premie care.

There is truly nothing negative to say about any of these three ladies and their service allowed my wife and I to rest.

I can’t speak highly enough of them, and Annie alike. Very professional and friendly. Would absolutely whole heartedly recommend Annie’s services.

We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful baby nurse! From the moment she arrived, she brought a sense of calm, expertise, and warmth into our home. Her gentle care, deep knowledge, and genuine love for babies made all the difference in those early weeks. She not only cared for our little one with incredible skill but also provided invaluable guidance and support, making us feel confident as new parents. We are beyond grateful for her dedication and kindness—she is truly one of a kind!

We had the best experience with Annie and Cali. Annie traveled for a week and situated herself in the room next door to help with all our newborn's needs. She made sure we were setup properly at home, and gave us (and the baby!) instructions on how to do everything. As we continued for months with Annie, Cali began assisting. Cali is the warm, knowledgeable expert we needed to get our little guy sleeping 11 hours a night!!! Could not be more grateful to Annie and her expert team of awesome angels.

I can’t say enough good things about Annie and her team. I have already reccommended their services to friends and would absolutely use them if I have another baby. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Annie, Monica, Amy and Callie since I used their services for 4 months. They are all extremely professional and most importantly, a pleasure to be around at such a sensitive time in a mother and baby’s life. They care for your baby like a mother and bring that special touch that only love and passion for babies can bring. They are also very communicative and reliable. Annie sets a high standard and her team lives up to it. We spent the most amount of time with Amy and Callie. Amy was with us for the first month of my baby’s life and was a calm and caring energy in our home. She was very knowledgeable about newborn sleep and care which made making decisions about what to do during various situations easy (for instance, help with suggestions when changing bottles and formulas when my baby started to develop reflux). She even helped me with my baby’s 1 month photo shoot which was so fun! We are currently with Callie for 2 months and like Amy, she is extremely knowledgable and personable. As things come up and my baby changes, we work through it together and she brings a wealth of experience that I very much appreciate. Since my baby is older now, she is helping me come up with a plan for how we’ll get her to sleep through the night. She suggested a routine which we started and my baby is responding really well to it! My baby gets excited to see Callie when she arrives at night, which makes me so happy. I feel good that my baby is happy and being taken care of by someone who cares for her like I do while I take some time for myself!

We had the most amazing experience with Coya as our baby nurse. She was so loving, hands on, and professional during her stay with our newborn daughter. She became like part of the family! She was consistent and always so attentive to our baby. She knew exactly what to do and needed minimal guidance. We were so thankful to have her and would highly recommend her again to another family.

Annie and Tina were amazing! We had such a positive experience. Both are kind and so knowledgable. The first two weeks as first time parents wasn’t the easiest but they made it a breeze. Helping with education on everything from feeding to bath time, to helping us with sleep schedule. By the time they left, he was sleeping every four hours. 100% recommend !!!!

Annie is the best! I used her for my twin girls as a night nurse. She was a lifesaver and so great with my babies! Definitely would hire her in a heartbeat if I was to ever have any more babies.
